It seems that God continues to speak to me through this painting. At the time that I was painting it I thought having a yellow heart was a bit odd but today I read this verse and now when I see this painting, and the other one where a yellow heart seems to have appeared also, I will think of this verse and the hope it brings.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light
so that you can understand
the wonderful future He has promised
to those He called.
I want you to realize
what a rich and glorious inheritance
He has given to His people.
Ephesians 1:18

Ah, love that prayer. In fact, for the past 6 weeks or so the sermons at church have been on Ephesians 1 and 2. Such a rich inheritance given to us.
I am continually amazed how God speaks to me through a journal page or painting. it's so cool!! :)
Blessings to you on the Palm Sunday!
thank you for the reminder...i am having god take care of my sixteen year old right now....i have to trust that all will be better in god's hands....cuz my ideas? they have not worked so well...blah!
My heart goes out to anyone with teenagers. I have had 4 and I must admit surrendering them into God's hands was the best thing I ever did but definately not the easiest. It still is a daily exercise.
Teri, a class with Alisa. I'm jealous!! Or to see her paint in person how fun!! Can't wait to hear all about it.
When is the class??
